The crypto market is in the bullish zone led by the two largest cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and Ethereum. The leading cryptocurrencies have hit new all-time highs in the last 24 hours, and this has caused a ripple effect in the market.
Bitcoin And Ethereum Hit All-time Highs
Bitcoin has continued to make rapid gains in recent weeks, buoyed by recent institutional adoption. In the past two weeks, the leading cryptocurrency has made 30% gains from $38k and recently crossed the $50k threshold just two days ago.
Bitcoin has continued this trend hitting an all-time high of $52,533, according to data from CoinMarketCap. Leading altcoin Ethereum has been branded undervalued for many months and has joined the recent train.
ETH surpassed the $1,900 in the early hours of today, creating a new all-time high of $1,926, according to CoinMarketCap. For its part, Ether has already been progressing since the beginning of February when it was trading around $1,300.
Since then, the rise in ETH has mainly been uninterrupted, with the latest surge adding 10% to its price. Ether’s capitalization is now approaching $220 billion, with the altcoin market cap surpassing Coca-Cola and L’ Oreal.
Altcoins Follows The Trend
As expected, the recent rise of Bitcoin and Ethereum has spread to other coins in the market, trading in green. Polkadot (DOT) has continued to pump in recent days and is currently up by 35% over the past seven days.
Ripple (XRP) and Cardano (ADA) are trading in gains after recent bearish movements. Binance Coin (BNB) is one of the best performers, with the token hitting a new all-time high of $194.57 on Thursday.
The Binance exchange native token is currently up a whopping 35% in the past 24 hours and shows no signs of slowing down. Litecoin (LTC) has also performed well, with the altcoin up by 27% in the past week. Simultaneously, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) has also made significant gains increasing by 45% in the last seven days.
This latest market trend confirms that we are definitely in the bull season. Bitcoin and Ethereum could make significant gains in the coming days as the leading coins look to enter uncharted territories.
